FAQ

Questions parents ask us most.

Can't find your answer? Call (402) 926-8979.

Getting started
What age should my athlete start training?

We recommend starting a strength and conditioning program at age 8. Our programs are Developmental (ages 8–11), Performance (ages 12–14) and Elite & Recruiting (ages 15+). See the programs →

Do you only train baseball and softball athletes?

No. We offer baseball and softball instruction and facility rentals for hitting and pitching, but we train athletes from every sport, with programs built for each one: football, basketball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, track and more.

What happens at the first session?

Testing. Every athlete who joins receives extensive athletic testing, and we use the results to build their individual strength, speed and agility program around their goals.

How do I get started?

Create an account in the free Vagaro app, choose a membership and sign up for your first class. Our Get Started page walks you through it, or call us and we'll help.

Where can I see pricing?

Memberships and pricing are listed in our Vagaro booking page. Tap Get Started to see every option.

What should my athlete wear and bring?

Athletic clothes, training shoes and a water bottle.

Training
What kind of programs do you offer?

Beginner, intermediate and advanced programs, based on each athlete's assessment and their ability to perform every movement with proper form and technique.

Is lifting safe for younger athletes?

Yes, when it is coached. Athletes master technique before they add weight or move to advanced movements, and younger athletes train in a simplified version of our program built around movement, speed and fundamentals.

Should my athlete train during their season?

Yes. Strength and speed start to fade within a few weeks of stopping, and the riskiest moment for injury is jumping back into full-speed play after time off. We adjust training during the season so athletes stay strong without wearing down.

Do you train teams?

Yes. We work with school and club teams. Call (402) 926-8979 to set up team training. See lessons, camps and rentals →

Scheduling and memberships
How do I schedule classes?

All scheduling is done in the free Vagaro app. Sign up for each class you plan to attend. Please don't rely on texting coaches to schedule.

Can I cancel or reschedule a class?

Yes, up to 24 hours before class starts, in your Vagaro account. If you miss the sign-up cutoff, contact us the night before, before 9:30 pm.

How do memberships work?

Memberships run on time, not number of workouts. Your membership clock begins at the first class you attend after testing, and a membership must be used within one year of purchase.

Can I pause my membership?

Only for an injury or illness. Memberships must be honored once purchased, and your athlete's program is built around the membership you choose, so please review your schedule before you buy. Read the scheduling policies →
